Welcome to AfroDocs. We are glad you are here and appreciate the trust you place in our platform. AfroDocs was created to help students, researchers, and professionals format academic documents efficiently, consistently, and with confidence. We value transparency and user trust, which is why this document clearly explains how AfroDocs works and the rules that govern the use of the service.
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, uploading documents, or otherwise using AfroDocs, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. These terms exist to protect both you and AfroDocs and to ensure that the service remains fair, reliable, and sustainable for all users.
AfroDocs is a web-based academic document formatting platform that automatically structures and formats documents according to predefined academic and institutional rules. The platform generates properly formatted Microsoft Word (.docx) files based on user-selected options. AfroDocs is intended to assist users in preparing academic documents more efficiently; however, it does not replace institutional guidelines or academic judgment.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their AfroDocs account credentials and for all activities carried out under their account. You agree to use AfroDocs only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the plan you have purchased. It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct plan type is selected for your intended use.
Users are advised to carefully review all formatted documents before submission. While AfroDocs applies consistent formatting rules, final responsibility for document accuracy and institutional compliance rests with the user.
AfroDocs operates on a usage-based, pay-per-page billing system. Pages are deducted from a user’s balance only after a formatting request has been successfully completed. If a formatting operation fails or does not complete successfully, pages are not deducted. Once pages are deducted following a successful formatting operation, they are considered used and cannot be restored.
Student and personal plans are intended strictly for individual academic use, including assignments, coursework, projects, dissertations, and theses. These plans must not be used for paid services, commercial formatting, or any activity carried out for profit.
Print shop and commercial plans are intended for cyber cafés, print shops, document centres, and other high-volume or paid document formatting services. Commercial use is permitted only under these plans. AfroDocs reserves the right to review usage patterns and to restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that misuse plans, engage in unauthorised commercial use, or attempt to bypass plan limitations.
All payments made to AfroDocs are final. Due to the digital nature of the service, refunds are not provided once pages have been used. Unused pages remain available in accordance with the applicable page validity rules in effect at the time of purchase.
AfroDocs aims to provide a reliable and consistent service experience. However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Temporary interruptions may occur due to scheduled maintenance, system upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues.
AfroDocs reserves the right to monitor usage patterns to ensure fair use of the service. Accounts involved in abuse, fraud, excessive misuse, or violations of these terms may be restricted, suspended, or terminated. These measures are taken to protect the quality and sustainability of the platform for all users.
AfroDocs is not responsible for institution-specific formatting requirements beyond the templates and rules provided on the platform. AfroDocs is also not liable for errors in user-submitted content or for academic or professional decisions made based on formatted documents. Users are encouraged to verify all documents before submission.
